Kensington Place reopens with new menu and communal table

kensingtonplacelogoFollowing a fortnight's closure, Kensington Place reopens today with a fresh design. The new-look interior comes courtesy of former Conran Shop creative director Polly Dickens who's brought in a new communal table and banquette seating.

The fresh new feel will be matched with a new menu by recently-appointed head chef Dan Loftin who comes to Kensington Place from D&D London's Islington restaurant Almeida. The refreshed menu will focus on seafood with a new smoked fish platter including sprats, salmon, cod's roe, anchovies and mackerel. But there'll also be old favourites including fish pie, steak frites and braised suckling pig belly.

It's good news too for anyone wanting to bring their kids out for a decent meal, every dish on the manu is also available in a child-sized portion.

Kensington Place is at 201-209 Kensington Church Street, London W8.
