The body of a chef who trained at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen has been discovered in a South London garden. The grim discovery was made just hours before the chef's former boss was due to go on to British television to launch a Missing Person appeal.
Kevin Boyle's disappearance prompted countless chefs and other restaurant folk to join the search when he went missing back in October 2011. He trained with Fifteen and worked in a number of establishments, clearly making friends wherever he went. Following his graduation from the Fifteen programme Boyle had worked at Le Caprice, St John and most recently Vinoteca.
Jamie Oliver issued a statement to say he was 'deeply saddened by this tragic news. I am proud to have been able to call Kevin a friend for 10 years and he was also a constant supporter of Fifteen and all the apprentices and graduates who came after him through the course." Oliver had been expected to appear on This Morning on Monday morning to urge people to look out for the missing chef.
