Celeb haunt and general impossible-to-get-a-reservation-if-you're-not-Simon-Cowell restaurant, The Ivy, has just announced it's going to take on a capsule on the London Eye over the London Restaurant Festival. The Ivy's dinner will take place on 14th October 2009.
Ten lucky diners, whose winning bid secures them the capsule, will enjoy a menu specially created by Alan Bird, Executive Chef of The Ivy and Gary Lee, Head Chef of The Ivy. Favourite dishes from the Ivy are promised - so expect to see steak and kidney puddding on the menu.

Bids are for the entire capsule for one night. Please be aware that the reserve is £5500. Successful bidders will be notified on the 1st October. 5% of each capsule sold through the silent auction will be donated to Action Against Hunger.
