Now, THIS is what you need in hot weather. Forget about normal eclairs, you'll be wanting ICEclairs. These are coming to the patisserie shop Melba that's part of the Savoy hotel. They've been created by the Savoy’s executive pastry chef, Ludwig Hely and are, yes, ice-cream filled eclairs.
You can pick which ice cream you want - including pure dark chocolate, Sicilian pistachio, salted caramel and wild berries. And once you're sorted on the ice-cream front you can add toppings like popping candy, cookie dough, candy floss, caramelised hazelnuts, shortbread and chocolate crunchy pearls.
So yes, this is EXACTLY what we want.
