Piccadilly food store Fortnum & Mason continues to innovate under the leadership of Ewan Ventners who moved over here from Selfridges in 2012.
Their latest wheeze is to run a weekly supperclub every Thursday in their Fountain Restaurant and they've signed up a number of notable chefs and restaurants to take part.
The first dinner begins this week (June 5), when Michelin-starred chef William Drabble, of Seven Park Place fame, will be in the kitchen. His five-course menu includes Hand Dived Scallops Carpaccio with Asparagus Lemon & Samphire, and Baked Fillet of Red Mullet with Courgette and Basil Puree. Tickets for the event, at which William will be present, cost £65.00.
Other big names who have signed up include Thomasina Miers, Angela Hartnett, Mark Hix, James Petrie (Head of Development at The Ledbury) and Lorraine Pascale.
