New openings on the food and wine front continue over at Selfridges with news of changes to the Wine and Cigar Shop and a new bar.
The revamped shop is now the biggest Wine and Cigar range that Selfridges has ever opened. A third bigger than before with 200 new products they'll have regular events with a tequila event planned for tonight and Whisky month running from Monday 20 May to Sunday 16 June.
The new Harry Gordon's Bar, which opened last Friday, features a cocktail list by Ryan Chetiyawardana (Worship Street Whistling Shop). The bar's focus on beer too apparently makes Selfridges the only UK department store to stock London craft beers on tap with 10 to choose from.
Happily there's also a decent food offering planned to go along with all that booze, with charcuterie and cheese from the Foodhall and a range of seasonal salads.
