It's all go at Harrods. Not only are they about to welcome uber-chef Thomas Keller for his French Laundry pop-up, but they've just opened up a brand-new meatfest experience in the foodhall. The Steakhouse features steaks made from 21-day, dry-aged Aberdeen Angus beef.
If you take a look at the picture (right) you'll see the fridges housing the cuts of meat. Diners get a choice from a range of fillet, t-bone, bone-in sirloin and bone-in ribeye and then it's chopped at the butcher’s block and cooked to request. Steaks start at £15.
To go with the beef, the chefs will serve up chips triple-cooked in beef dripping, whole and half lobster, mac 'n' cheese and a selection of sauces including Béarnaise, Roquefort butter and Chimichurri.
The Steakhouse at Harrods is open 11.30am to 8pm on Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
