Here at Hot Dinners we can't imagine going anywhere, let along joining a sodden, tented mass of humanity in the West Country, without knowing where the best places to eat would be. Yes, yes, we're sure that all that lovely live music is rather nice, but when you've got a hangover that would fell a wrestler or are just plain poleaxed from dancing all night, you'll end up thanking us for this list of great food stalls to look for at this year's Glastonbury.
Meateasy at The Beat Hotel
New to this year's Glastonbury, The Beat Hotel can be found in the markets between the Pyramid and John Peel. They're serving up cocktails by Soulshakers and some world-class BBQ by The Meateasy 12-3pm and 6-9pm every day. They’ll also have special guests DJs day and night.

Portobello paella
Jamon Jamon are usually to be found on Portobello market, but they’re also at Glastonbury again this year. Their stall is right opposite the Bourbon Street bar. ‘Just look out for the bulls horns!’. On the menu, Valencian paella, vegetarian paella and garlic bread. They’re also going to be running a new stall at Glasto, serving up just garlic bread with toppings.

Byron
Tom Byng’s Byron is doing the rounds at festivals this year with the Byron Shack which will be outside the Leftfield Tent at Glastonbury. The Shack menu will offer customers three choices of hamburger: classic (£6.50), with cheese (£7.50), or the signature Byron with bacon and cheese (£8.75).

The Italian Kitchen
The Italian kitchen will be setting up their restaurant under canvas in The Park. Pesto and sauces are handmade by the team and you can expect classic pasta dishes such as meatballs in spicy tomato sauce and homemade pesto with roasted veg as well as toasted panini which they boast make ‘the perfect hangover cure’.
Trethowans Dairy
which you may know from Borough Market, has set up stall in West Holts close to the Big Top. They're partnering with Somerset cheesemaker Jamie Montgomery to serve punters a West Country raclette with grilled cheese, pototes and gherkins. 'We’ll be serving Orchard Pig apple juice (3 miles from site),' they say, 'you don’t get more ‘terroir’ than that.'
