Gordon Ramsay opening St Paul's restaurant and selling TV stake

It's a good news day for Gordon Ramsay - looks like any money worries might be a thing of the past with the news that Ramsay could be taking home a hefty wodge after the sale of his half share of TV company, One Potato Two Potato.

Gordon co-owns the production company with Optomen Television which is being taken over in a multimillion deal. According to the Press Association, Ramsay could walk away with around £10 million as a result of the sale, whilst retaining his position as Director.

And there's more - after much speculation, Gordon Ramsay Holdings also confirmed today that they'll be opening a restaurant in the One New Change development beside St Paul's Cathedral, joining Jamie Oliver who's already on course to open a barbecue restaurant, Barbecoa, there in October. Although no details of the restaurant have been released, it's expected that it'll be along the lines of Ramsay's Plane Food at Heathrow Terminal Five.
