Canary Wharf workers might want to start booking in lunch or evening meetings at Goodman Canary Wharf on Mondays for the next five weeks as the steakhouse launches a brief series of super deals on Californian fine wines.
Supported by the Wine Institute of California, every Monday they'll have four or five cracking bottles on offer at an absolute steal, starting with an 06 Peter Michael L'esprit des Pavots from Sonoma for £45 (currently £165 on the Goodman list) or how about an 02 Arietta H Block for £65 (the 04 is on the list at £160).
"It's for anyone who wants to push the boat out and have that bottle of wine they've always fancied," said Dave Strauss of Goodman, who stressed that these Monday deals would see wines going for "really way less than you'd pay in a shop...if you could find them."
The Monday wine steals are at Goodman Canary Wharf for the next five Mondays for lunch and dinner starting on 28 January.
