Tickets have just gone on sale for God Save the Clam - a Jubilee-themed event dreamt up by the people behind Rock Lobsta and Pitt Cue. Described as a 'punk-styled clambake and banshee cocktail bar on a rooftstop n London Fields' it'll mix great food with lots of booze and a top view of East London (weather permitting!).
They'll be at Emigre Studios on Richmond Road, London E8 on Thursday 31 May at 6pm, Friday 1 June and Saturday 2 June at 12pm for lunch and 6.30pm for dinner and at 12pm for lunch on Sunday 3 June. Tickets are £39 and for that you get a welcome cocktail or beer and the following dishes:
- Pitt Cue links, burnt lettuce, smoked anchovy salad cream, dry rub fried toast
- The Clam Bake: Clams, cockles, mussels, devilled crayfish & crab claws, sea beets & samphire - steamed over seaweed & charcoal, sides of Cornish Early Potatoes in Smoked Dripping, House Sausage, BBQ leeks, BBQ Corn & Grilled sourdough
- A mid meal digestif or cocktail
- Sundaes
Alongside this, the pop-up's Shack Snack Bar will also be open serving lobster corn dogs, Po Boy sandwiches and lobster popcorn together with cocktails/beer/wine & sparkly stuff.
