Tickets have just gone on sale for a massive 20 day event celebrating international food during the Olympics. Stratford Old Town Hall will be the venue for a series of dinners where every night 80 guests will enjoy food and entertainment from different countries.
Global Feast will be run by supperclub superstar Kerstin Rodgers (aka MsMarmiteLover) and it promises to look pretty spectacular. At the heart of the room will be a worldscape - a huge model of the world 15 metres by 6 metres which will be the dining table. Every night a new guest chef from Britain's best supperclubs will be in charge of the food and drink. So far, confirmed chefs include Arno from the Saltoun Supper Club for the Central African evening, Sabrina Ghayour who'll do the Middle Eastern night, Russian Revels for the Russian evening and Soho's Ceviche who'll be running the Peruvian night. The English opening night will see Kerstin herself in charge, along with Edinburgh's My Home supperclub and Moelfaban supper club from Wales.
Tickets for the three courses with a welcome cocktail and canapes will cost £55 per person (£65 on weekends. Opening Ceremony night looks to be the must-have ticket, as it puts you right by the Olympic stadium - perfect for watching the fireworks. Tickets for that cost £100 and include a champagne reception and cocktails all night.
