Fans of Gastronaut TV presenter Stefan Gates should head for Islington gastropub The Draper's Arms next month where the TV chef will be hosting an out of the ordinary dinner.
Gates, whose new publication The Extraordinary Cookbook is just being published, will preside over a three-course dinner, some of which you'll have to cook yourself. Recipes in the new book, subtitled 'Make meals your friends will never forget' include poaching salmon in the dishwasher or cooking kebabs on a car engine.
Guests will be greeted with a gin and tonic jelly made by Stefan. Then there'll be a cooking demonstration, followed by a three-course meal which will involve diners cooking food for themselves - recipes from Gates's new cookbook - on gas burners on the tables.
Tickets for the dinner on 1 December 2010 cost £20. Call the pub on 020 7619 0348 to book.
