The small but beautifully formed chain that is Galvin restaurants have decided to host a Summer festival of food across all their London (and Edinburgh) restaurants in May. And a quick glance at the events reveals plenty to look forward to
- Monday 13th May - There will be a three course "Soup de-luxe" tasting menu in Harrods while Cafe a Vin in Spitalfields will be hosting a dinner of dishes from the Galvin cookbook and a reading of Bar Stories from the Galvin brothers
- Tuesday 14th May - a six-course Escoffier-Inspired Dinner supporting the charity Galvin’s Chance London 2013 in which they'll be partnering with the Ritz's Escoffier authority John Williams
- Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th May - a Big Green Egg barbeque in the garden at Cafe a vin
- Thursday 16th May - "Party in the Sky at Galvin at Windows" again in aid of Galvin's Chance, from 10pm to 3am
- Friday 17th May - an Absinthe Renaissance tasting party at Bistro de Luxe
- Saturday 18th May - An Apple Tarte Tatin baking competition at Bistro de Luxe open to everyone (send in photos and the top 10 will be invited to cook on the day.)
