Just in case anyone's minds over the festive period weren't already on champagne, a Covent Garden pop-up devoted to French champagne is opening between now and the end of January.
French Bubbles, a collective of boutique champagne houses, will run from Thursday 1 December 2011 until 31 January 2012 at 22 Wellington Street, WC2. Visitors will be able to work their way through their twenty award-winning champagnes and buy the bottles they like to take home with them. The food offering of cheese and charcuterie comes courtesy of Une Normande à Londres and you can choose to try one of French Bubbles' platters paired with five boutique champagnes.
The pop-up will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm.
