Free meals, prime time snacks and menus at Millennium prices

Some interesting restaurant deals and menu promotions on offer in London this week:

Bar snacks
Palm restaurant wouldn't perhaps spring to mind as a place for a cut-price meal, but their new Prime Time menu is a great idea if you're looking for a better-than-average bar snack to go with your post-work drink.  Prime Time runs all week between 5-7pm with all the dishes on the Prime Time menu costing £4. We particularly like the sound of the Nova Scotia Lobster BLT sliders and Mini Broiled crab cakes.

Babbo's birthday
To mark Italian restaurant Babbo’s first birthday, the restaurant on Albermarle Street will be giving one lucky set of diners their meal for free each night.  Every evening from Monday 15th November until Saturday 27th November (excluding Sundays), one lucky group of diners eating at ‘Tavola Una’ (Table One), will be treated to a fully complimentary dinner and drinks. The only thing is you won't know you're at the table in question until the end of your meal.

Back to the year 2000
There's more birthday celebrations over in Clerkenwell where Tom and Ed Martiin are celebrating the 10th birthday of the Well. Between 15-21 November the gastropub will be serving a set menu at 2000 prices - so lamb shank with garlic mash will be just £9.50. There will also be a 10p sale between for 10 minutes at 10pm every night at all their pubs (The Well, The White Swan, The Gun ,The Empress of India ,The Prince Arthur, the Hat and Tun and The Cadogan Arms but not the Botanist) with ten selected food and drink items at just 10p. Sadly drinks are being sensibly limited to just four per order.
