London is slowly but surely becoming a city that takes brunch seriously. Which is why you should all go crazy for the news that Foxlow (the non-Hawksmoor restaurant owned by Will Beckett and Huw Gott) is about to start serving a weekend brunch.
What's more is they're starting it right in the middle of peak Christmas party season, and we can't honestly think of a better way to kill your hangover stone dead than a Foxlow brunch.
And when we tell you there's stuff like Moroccan Eggs and Sobrasada Toast, Fried Chicken & Egg on a Croissant Waffle, a Montecristo Cronut stuffed with ham and cheese and the All Day Breakfast Burger to be had, we're sure you'll agree.
Of course there are for odd folks, more healthy dishes such as Waffle, Greek Yoghurt and Autumn Fruit and Homemade Ricotta & London Honey with Sourdough Toast as well as a range of brunch juices and drinks. But we have our sights set on that fried chicken and breakfast burger.
As for drinks, there are all manner of enticing concoctions including: Wild oats flip with Chivas Regal, Porridge Syrup and Whole Egg and a Honeydew Salty Dog with melon, vodka and salt.
Weekend brunches officially start at Foxlow from Saturday, 6 December. They'll be open for brunch from 11am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays.
