Fortnums come up with the Chotch Egg for Easter

chotchegg

More than 250 years ago, Fortnum & Mason first scotched an egg. This year, they've come up with a new twist to the pub snack with the invention of the Chotch Egg. It's their mash-up between a Scotch and Easter Egg. So you get a free-range egg, wrapped in venison with 55% Valrhona dark chocolate, infused with Juniper berries and finished with breadcrumbs.

The Chotch Egg will be available from 31 March to 6 April 2015 in Fortnum’s Wine Bar and the Lower Ground Floor Food Hall.
