The finalists for this year’s Restaurant and Bar Design Awards have just been announced and London has no less than 27 venues in the shortlist.
They are as follows:
Independent Restaurant – Tom’s Kitchen, Galvin La Chapelle, Viet Hoa and Boundary.
Multiple Restaurant – Comptoir Libanais, Canteen, Bangalore and Wahaca
Independent Bar or Club – The Parlour, Profile, liquidnation and Circus
Multiple Bar or Club – Green’s Cornhill, Bangalore Express Bar
Bar/Restaurant/Club in another space – Restaurant at St Paul’s, The Restaurant,
Restaurant or Bar in a hotel – HUNter 486,
Cafe or Fast Food, Tinderbox, Caffeine, Outsider Tart and Comptoir Libanais
Lighting scheme – Galvin La Chapelle, Snog, Aqua and The Book Club
Website/Identity – Circus, Draft House, The Diner and Katzenjammers
