Fay Maschler reveals how to get a free meal out

There could be such a thing as a free dinner...
Fay Maschler reveals more information about the upcoming London Restaurant Festival in today’s Evening Standard, including the particularly cheering idea of Lucky Dice restaurants, where you can gamble on the chance of a free meal. There’s also talk of gourmet trips on Routemaster buses and a special Sunday Lunch for 400 ticketholders at Leadenhall market. We also like the idea of a revolving restaurant with chefs serving up dinner in one of the London Eye capsules.

Best Indian meal ever?
Treat your tastebuds and do good at the same time by buying a ticket for a sumptuous dinner with courses cooked by Vineet Bhatia of Rasoi Vineet Bhatia, Sriram Aylur of Quilon, Alfred Prasad of Tamarind, Cyrus Todiwala of Café Spice Namaste and Vivek Singh of The Cinnamon Club. The dinner is being held on 16th September at the  Grange St. Paul’s Hotel; tickets cost £175 per person and will be raising money for The Indian Ocean Disaster Relief.
