Farringdon gets a Peruvian pop-up Limanation in June

limaYou've got to love London. How many other cities in the world would you find a Hawaiian sandwich shop and a Peruvian pop-up to entertain the foodie massive?

The pop-up in question is Limanation, a celebration of the food of Lima featuring the very best of Lima's cuisines from Afro-Peruvian, to Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian), Novo Andino (new Andean), Criollo and Chifa (Chinese-Peruvian).

Limanation comes courtesy of Ceviche - a new Peruvian restaurant which will be opening up in London this November - and is apparently the first of several pop-ups they're running over the summer. It'll be at the Free Word Centre at 60 Farringdon Road from 16-18 June.

Chef Alejandro Bello's menu starts with a Pisco Sour and includes such delights as Aji de Gallina Tequeños (deep-fried chicken stew dumplings) with a Rocoto Mayonaise and Duo de Ceviches - a classic sea bass ceviche with sweet potato crisp served along a warm prawn ceviche.

To book your spot at the sittings at 6:30pm & 9:00pm click here http://limanation.eventbrite.com/. Tickets are £25 per person.
