Heading off on the Eurostar over the summer? Sourced Market based in St Pancras International has a rather nice picnic offering – and Eurostar customers get a special discount.
The market is offering customers with a valid Eurostar ticket a special deal on their picnic for two, which includes mixed charcuterie, English cheese, a tub of olives, artisan bread, and a Adams & Harlow hand raised pork pie.
The picnic usually costs £11.95, but for Eurostar travellers this has been reduced to £9.95. However, if you fancy a slightly more indulgent treat for your journey, you can upgrade the picnic to include a 75cl bottle of Bergerie de la Bastide (red, white or rose) for £17.95 (£19.95 for non-Eurostar customers).
Sourced Market, which was founded by Ben O’Brien and Tim Harvey in 2007, prides itself on locally sourcing food and using seasonal ingredients, also offers a selection of craft beer, wine and claim to make the best Monmouth coffee in St Pancras International.
The picnic discount is only valid for customers travelling on the same date as their ticket states. If on the other hand, you’re going no further than a nearby bench at Granary Square that won’t be a problem.
