It's certainly been the year for steak, with Goodman and Hawksmoor branching out and Cut making a big debut earlier this year. Now the Caprice group, the people behind Scott's and the Ivy, join them as details of the imminent 34 are finally revealed.
Head Chef Paul Brown and Tim Hughes will be putting all the effort into showcasing their custom-made parrilla grill, with Scottish dry-aged grass-fed, Wagyu, US prime Creekstone Farm and more available - as well as lamb from the UK, seasonal game and sustainable fish.
Alongside the main dishes, you can expect caviar, raw and cured meat selections. You can also choose from starters like Whitfield Estate partridge on toast, Baked brioche chicken & foie gras sausage for and Sloe Gin Fizz jelly with Amalfi lemon sherbet or William pear tart with créme brûlée ice cream for dessert.
The restaurant, which will seat 100, will have an Edwardian/Art deco feel and is designed by Martin Brudnizki who's been behind Hix, Scott's, Dean St Townhouse and Les Deux Salons among many more.
34 opens on 24 November at 34 Grosvenor Square and the reservation line is 020 3350 3434.
