Over in Los Angeles, chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck is the man when it comes to Oscars catering. For more than 20 years he's been running the food at the official post-Academy Awards shindig - the Governor's Ball.
Now, we're not expecting many Hot Dinners readers to be in possession of an invite to Sunday's ceremony, but there are other ways to get into the spirit of things. If you head to Wolfgang's London restaurant and bar, CUT, on Park Lane they're putting on a cocktail and starter inspired by the Oscars.
In the bar at 45 Park Lane, the And the Winner is… cocktail, combines aged rum, red vermouth, Italian bitters and cherry liqueur, is topped with an elderflower foam cloud and adorned with gold leaf. It'll cost £18.
But what we really loved were the Oscar-themed bar snacks. Designed in the shape of the Oscar award and made from smoked salmon you get three for £21 or £52 if you'd like them heaped, Oscar-winner style, with Russian Oscietra Caviar.
