Craft Beer Rising festival hits the Truman Brewery in February

craftbeerIf you had fun roaming around all the food markets and events pre-Christmas, make a date in your diary for Craft Beer Rising.

Billed as a mix of craft beer, music & street food it hits London towards the end of February over at the Old Truman Brewery in East London.

More than 40 breweries will be there for you to taste and buy beer from. Right now, breweries who've confirmed their attendance include Bath Ales, Boxsteam, Brentwood, Elephant School, Fernandes, Meantime, Oakham Ales, Offbeat, Ossett, Raw, Red Squirrel, Riverhead, Sharps, The Rebel Brewing Company, St Austell, The Old Cannon, The Rat, The Rebel, Thwaites, Traquair House and Vale. Exclusive to the two day festival is a special batch of Craft Beer Rising Festival beer, brewed in partnership with West London's The Lamb Brewery.

On the food front, eats will be provided by the stalls at Brockley Market. Norman Jay will headline the music side of things. There'll also  be a curious Beer Lab created by Heriot-Watt University, renowned for its International Centre for Brewing and Distilling. And for laughs,'Thinking Drinkers' Ben McFarland and Tom Sandham are presenting an all-new version of their sold out review from the Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre.
