What: Counter Termini
In a nutshell: Classic Italian pizza plus cocktails, salads and desserts.
Summing it all up: Vauxhallites can tuck into wood-fired sourdough pizzas and traditional Italian desserts while enjoying a seat at the marble-topped counter in Counter Terminini.
The low-down
Sourdough pizzas, aperitivo and antipasti have come to Vauxhall's arches.
There’s be a big open kitchen with a great view of its wood-fired oven, so perfect for those who like to pull up a stool at the counter, particularly when you consider the selection of cocktails, Italian and New World wines and craft beers you can enjoy at the same time.
PIzza toppings include the Pizza Salmoni with home-cured salmon, or Napolitana with Brindisa anchovies, with former Quaglino and Chez Bruce chef Mahrez Loukal in the kitchen. If that’s not your speed, you can also opt for a seafood salad with octopus, mussels and prawns, and round things off with a traditional Italian dessert like tiramisu or panna cotta.
If this all sounds a slightly familiar, that’s because Counter Termini will operate as a sister restaurant at the end of Counter, also under the Vauxhall arches, which boasts its famous 200-foot long counter.
