Cloudy Bay takes over the terrace at Harvey Nichols

Cloudy Bay TerraceThe Terrace on Harvey Nichols 5th floor often gets a very welcome makeover in the summer and the next one is imminent. This time it's courtesy of New Zealand wine Cloudy Bay - which is taking the Chelsea Flower Show as their starting point for their inspiration behind the design.

Cloudy Bay wines will, of course, be the main feature with sparkling Pelorus, their signature Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir available. If you have a London Wine Week wristband, you'll get a discount too.

Alongside this Harvey Nichols has a special 3-course à la carte tasting menu, available both at the Cloudy Bay Terrace and the Fifth Floor Café. This includes:

  • Dressed Cornish crab with pickled radish and watercress salad
  • Goats cheese and soft herb parfait with poached quails eggs, thyme marinated beetroot, red vein sorrel and a walnut dressing
  • Poached and roasted poussin, minted peas à la française, wilted baby gem and potato rosti
  • Pan fried line caught sea bass with braised krone artichokes, buttered celery, celeriac fondant and truffle jus.
  • Pistachio praline floating island with crème anglaise and poached strawberries
  • Ricotta and vanilla cheesecake with butternut squash ice cream macerated kumquats and coffee jelly. 

The terrace itself will be decked out as "a visual interpretation of the wines throughout the summer."

The Cloudy Bay Chelsea Garden Terrace at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor runs from Monday, 2 June for 8 weeks (until 30 July). To book a table, call 020 7235 5000.
