There's a new weekend brunch for Clapham folk to rush to. Starting from this Saturday, sister restaurant to the Dairy and Paradise Garage - The Manor - gets ready to launch its new brunch menu.
That menu will have some new small plates, including Hereford beef tartare, bone marrow, wild garlic & black radish (£6) and Fermented potato flat bread, smoked aubergine & mint (£5.50) but it's the bigger brunch dishes that we're most interested in:
- Rye oat & chia seed Bircher muesli, greengages & Ivy House yoghurt (£6.50)
- Poached Tilley’s farm eggs, smoked potatoes & sorrel (£8)
- Fried duck egg, crispy pig cheeks, nduja, borlotti beans & San Marzano tomatoes (£9 - and that's it above).
Those all DO sound great and you can also have something on the side like "Smashed Avocado, toasted seeds & garden herbs" (£4.50). Can't have a brunch without avocado.
There will be brunch cocktails - Bloody Marys and Bloody Marias - and they're introducing the "Bloody Mary wheel" which will have a whole variety of ingredients and spices to choose from. So you can work your way through the weekend will all different types of Bloody Marys. You might want to write the next day off...
The brunch starts on Saturday 13 August 2016 and will run every Saturday and Sunday between 11am-3pm.
The Manor is at 148 Clapham Manor Street, London SW4 6BX. Find out more about the Manor.
