Changes are afoot at Counter Culture, the counter-and-stools restaurant from the people behind The Dairy (and right next-door to it). They're kicking off a new menu that will change every two months, circling the globe to concentrate on new cuisines each time, and giving them the Counter Culture twist, adding housemade pickles, ferments and cures.
First up, they're looking at Mexican food. That menu will include:
- Aubergine and herb tacos, chile de árbol salsa
- Our farm pumpkin and mole
- Margarita scallop ceviche
- Crayfish and asparagus tacos
And the cocktails will also feature tequilas and mezcals, including hibiscus infused Margaritas, the new "Let's go F#@&%*G mezcal" and a Counter Culture Paloma.
And later in the year, we can look out for menus based on South of France, the Caribbean and the Deep South.
When: The Mexican menu starts 8 May (with a preview on 5 May) and runs till the end of June 2018.
Where: 16 The Pavement, London SW4 0HY
