What: Harry's Dolci
In a nutshell: Harry's Bar goes Italian
Summing it all up: Caprice Holdings are at it again with another new opening in London. This time around, it's a loosely 50's/60's Italian themed bar and restaurant with its own terrace.
The low-down
Knightsbridgers craving a touch of La Dolce Vita will now be able to head to Basil Street, where a new restaurant that's themed all around 50s and 60s Italy will come with its own terrace.
Harry's Dolci, which will be just around the corner from Harrods, will be serving up bellinis and other Italian goodies later this year. So you can expect Linguine Vongole, Pappardelle al Ragù Bolognese and a whole seabass baked in a paper bag with fennel, rosemary and Amalfi lemon. Given the restaurant's name, you'd expect the dessert list to be pretty extensive and you'd be proven right. Here it includes Gelato cannoli, Tiramisù and Panna Cotta. It'll be a fairly big'un - 2,850 sq feet, with room for 64 inside, and a further 46 outside.
The restaurant is a sister venture to Harry's Bar in Mayfair, and will be another name on the already extensive list of restaurants owned by the Caprice Holdings group (The Ivy, Sexy Fish, J Sheekey's etc).
