We wouldn't like it to be said that here at Hot Dinners we're all about what's going on north of the river, so here's news of a soft-opening launch down in Putney next week for our readers south of the Thames.
Cantinetta is a new Italian wine-bar and restaurant in Putney. Its owner, Rebecca Mascarenhas - who opened Kitchen W8 with Philip Howard - has a lot of form in South London with Sonny's in Barnes and Phoenix in Putney under her belt. Most importantly, she's secured the services of a hot chef Federico Turri (formerly of Locanda Locatelli) to head up the kitchen at Cantinetta.
