West London entrepreneurs Charlie Raworth and Emma Hutchinson already run two local businesses in Shepherds Bush - Bush Hall and The Music House for Children. Now they're adding a restaurant to their empire. Bush Hall Dining Rooms is described as "a true neighborhood restaurant".
The 70 cover spot will be an all day diner, open seven days a week. Family-style dishes will be available at breakfast and for Sunday lunch when they'll serve up roasts with all the trimmings for the head of the table to carve themselves.
Head Chef and partner Tim Tapper - formerly Head Chef at Annie’s in Chiswick for ten years - has planned what reads like a lovely menu with Bloody Mary Mussels, Rack of lamb with a Pistachio Crust and Earl Grey Cambridge Burnt Cream. The prices look good too - starters range from £5-8.50, mains £10-19.50 and desserts at £6. He says he's taking his cues from Edwardian dining to create timeless modern classics.
Bush Hall Dining Rooms will open June 6 at 304 Uxbridge Road London W12 7LJ. Opening hours are 8am-midnight Mon-Sat and 8am-11pm Sunday. To book call 020 8222 6933. You can follow them on Twitter @bushhalldining
