Bunnychow to bring their mini loaves to Soho

Bunnychow to bring their mini loaves to SohoAlready a hit over at the Boxpark pop-up in Shoreditch, South African inspired Bunnychow is moving into Soho later this year.

The new restaurant will be an all day affair selling their signature mini-loaves filled with meat and veg.

What you need to know about Bunnychow

A bunny chow is a mini hollowed out loaf matched with a choice of fillings, that originally hails from Durban in South Africa. So once you're done with the filling, you can eat the "bowl" too.

The bunnys will be accompanied by a choice of six fillings. These include their signature ‘Monkey Gland Bunny’ which is handmade meatballs with with monkey gland BBQ sauce (traditionally served in South African restaurants) with peppers and fresh chili.  There's a "Bangcluck Bunny" which combines chicken and beansprouts in a Thai ginger sauce, topped with  veg slaw and a new addition - the "Pork n’ Pickle Bunny" which blends slow roasted pulled pork with mini pickled veggies.

It'll be open all day, seven days a week - so there will be a "Full English Bunny" too. That's a brioche loaf jam filled with mini Cumberland sausages, bacon and bunnychows’ own handmade black pudding and baked beans, topped off with a poached egg. There's also a ‘"Huevos Ranchero Bunny" loaf filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, black beans, chili and fresh salsa.

Where is it? 74 Wardour Street, Soho

And when does it open? 29 September
