The bubblewrap was certainly something that became big on the Chinatown food scene in 2017, and now the biggest spot Bubblewrap Waffle is opening 2017 with a brand new savoury treat.
It's called the Winter Flame and it's made with Bubblewrap batter with added paprika, mature cheddar cheese from Snowdonia and organic charcoal from G Baldwin & Co. When it's cooked, more cheese is added into the mix, which melts into bubbles and runs to the edges where it becomes crispy as it cooks. After all that, it's then topped with molten cheese sauce, a dusting of paprika. It's all yours for £5.88 (and some avocado for an extra £1 if you fancy).
Could be just what you need on a cold winter's day.
