Following on from their pre-Olympic collaboration in Shoreditch last year, British Airways has once more teamed up with Michelin-starred chef Simon Hulstone, this time for a pop-up cinema in Southwark.

Hulstone has created a special menu for the Silent Picturehouse which will run from 22-26 July. Dishes will include hot dogs with an all-American relish and a pick ‘n’ mix with retro sweets. Cinemagoers wil also be able to enjoy Taittinger Champagne, Hotel Chocolat treats and Union ice-cream, as well as cocktails inspired by the silver screen.

Working with his experimental team, the chef has also produced five popcorn flavours for Silent Picturehouse, based on the films being screened. For Jaws there's Shark Bite Popcorn flavoured with prawn, tuna, seaweed and umami. Top Gun has Take My Breath Away Popcorn - a combo of chilli and San Diego spices. Shaken not Stirred Martini is obviously for Skyfall - it features a mix of vermouth, olives, bitters and gin. There's also Suncream Flavour with coconut, Malibu, mango and passion fruit for The Beach and Millionaire’s Curry Caramel Popcorn which uses mixed Indian spices, caramel sauce and creamy butter for Slumdog Millionaire.

The point behind the Silent Picturehouse is to bring BA's in-flight experience to life, so visitors will get Sennheiser headsets to tune in to travel-inspired movies at night, and Disney movies for kids during the day. Tickets, costing from £7.50, will go on sale on 24 June at ba.com/silentpicturehouse and include the film, food and a glass of champagne. Further drinks can then be bought at the bar.

The five night pop-up will screen Jaws, Top Gun, Skyfall, The Beach plus a Fans’ Choice from; The Exotic Marigold Hotel, Slumdog Millionaire, Casablanca, Sleepless in Seattle and Into the Wild. Voting is already open for that at facebook.com/britishairways. During the day, the family bill will feature Disney films including; Up, Cars 2, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Oz the Great and Powerful, The Muppets and a sneak peak of the new Disney movie Planes.

The Silent Picturehouse is at 1 Bank End, Southwark, London, SE1 9BU and will run from 22-26 July. Fine out more at ba.com/silentpicturehouse
