Now here's something you don't see every day - a 6ft-high tower of poppadoms.
The side order stack was created for the launch of this year's Brick Lane Curry Festival, breaking the record for the world’s tallest stack of poppadoms (the old record was a paltry 4 ft 7.9 inches).
This the fourteenth year of the festival, which runs for two weeks from the 19 September. Highlights this year include an open air street party and an indoor music event held at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane.
More than 50 restaurants and 200 chefs from Brick Lane and Hanbury Street will be taking part and organisers are hoping to beat last year's visitor figures of 70,000.
