South London fans of the Portobello Road burger restaurant will soon have one opening on their doorstep. The Jamaican-inspired burger company has signed the deal on a site in Brixton, 12 months after first opening in West London.
At Boom Burger Brixton, right next to foodie hub Brixton Market, you'll be able to eat in or takeaway and there's going to be a large outdoor seated area.
While the new restaurant will obviously feature the dishes that have proved so popular in Portobello like plantain fries, the Jerk (chicken) Burger, the Boom Burger with bacon jam, Jerk Wings and Stamp & Go salt fish fritters, it'll also have some new dishes exclusive to Brixton.
Boom Burger will open in early February 2015 at 1 Brixton Station Road, London, SW9 8PA. Opening hours will be Tuesday to Sunday, 12 noon to 11pm. It'll be walk-ins only.
Keep up with their news on their website including a 50% food discount soft opening.
