They've already run a number of pop-up projects around London and now the people behind Bonnie Gull (Seafood Shack, Bonnie & Wild and Bonnie-on-sky) are opening their first permanent restaurant. The Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack will open on Fitzrovia's Foley Street in October.
As per their previous projects, the Seafood Shack will be featuring only responsibly sourced and 100% British produce. The Head chef will be Luke Robinson (Fifteen and Ristorante Citrus, Umbria) who'll be serving up a daily changing menu according to the day's catch.
Sample dishes might include Isle of Lewis mussels with Aspell cider and Cumbrian bacon; west coast Scottish lobster with shoestring fries and garlic butter.
The shack will open for lunch and dinner on weekdays, extending to brunch at the weekends. There'll be a raw bar too with an all British shellfish menu and cocktail list featuring the Bonnie Mary (made with home roasted clamato juice and a box of sea inspired spices and served up with either a fresh oyster or grilled prawn garnish.
The Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack will open on Fitzrovia's Foley Street on 2 October 2012. For more information go to www.bonniegull.com
