Bompas and Parr open election waffle house in Soho

@ Andrew StellitanoJellymongers and orchestrators of frankly bizarre food and drink events, Bompas and Parr, are opening up a politically-motivated pop-up in Soho tomorrow. The Parliamentary Waffle House at 66-67 Broadwick Street will be open between 22 April and the night of the election.

For just £5, the 'meal deal' ticket on sale here at Ticketweb will earn you the right to a Parliamentary waffle, scoop of ice cream and glass of Prescott Punch. Visitors will be asked to don special hats to demarcate their political allegiance and your choice of which party's waffle will feed directly into a live action swing ‘o’ meter by which Bompas and Parr will gauge the political mood of the nation.

'We are looking forward to seeing lots of MPs pop down,' said Harry Parr. 'Qualifying members of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group can even drink for free.'

Tickets are also on sale for a special election night opening, which for £20 promises free food all night. Now that's a manifesto policy worth voting for.
