Can't wait till November to try out Bill Granger's new restaurant? Then the London restaurant festival will give you an opportunity to meet the man as he presents his fave foodie movie as part of this year's events.
Eat Film is a regular event for the London Restaurant Festival, where a food-related movie is matched up with a dinner. This year they're joining up with cookery writers, getting them to help match some of their favourite films with an accompanying three course meal. So Bill Granger will be presenting Eat Drink Man woman on 5 October at the Soho Hotel and after you've watched the film you can enjoy a menu inspired by Bill's new book, featuring pulled chicken salad, arctic char on vermicelli noodles and chilli roast pineapple with pomegranite and coconut ice cream.
The two other Eat Film events are Laura Santtini of Cognative Cookery, who will be presenting Waitress on 6 October and Lucas Hollweg from the Times who will be introducing Chocolat on 13 October. Eat Film tickets are available now from the London Restaurant Festival site.
