Hard on the heels of his first successful Roast Sunday Maltby Street lunch, former Roganic chef Ben Spalding is heading further south to Battersea for another one-night only affair. On the 14th May he'll be doing a pop-up dinner for 50 people at Ben's Canteen in Battersea.
The dinner will be four courses (with nibbles before and after) for £50. Here's the menu:
- White crab, brown crab, grilled cucumber, cloudberries and smoked natural yoghurt
- Jerusalem artichokes cooked in soil overnight, spruce, various beetroots and warm grape dressing
- Spring chicken poached in salted butter, hazelnuts, onions and juices flavoured with roasted pineapple
- Whipped brown cheese, roasted fern carrots, bran flakes and iced lemon thyme
