Update 2/4 - tickets are now on sale
Last year Hot Dinners was very proud to be a part of Auction Against Hunger, set up by Ben Maschler in aid of Action Against Hunger. That auction raised over £100k so we're extremely happy to be a part of it again this year.
The online auction will take place over a week in May and the whole event will be capped off with a special event at Street Feast in Dalston. Some very big name chefs will be strutting their stuff and tickets will soon be on sale so you can be a part of it too.
So far, the line-up, hosted by Gizzi Erskine includes Nuno Mendes, Sat Bains, Neil Rankin, Pascal Aussignac, Francesco Mazzei, Anna Hansen, Jose Pizarro, Dishoom, Sat Bains, Paul A. Young and Street Feast regulars Yum Bun, Breddos Tacos and Pizza Pilgrims.
On the night, you'll also have the chance to take part in a pretty special live auction, compered by Richard Bacon (with a professional auctioneer on hand to help out). Some of the frankly amazing prizes on offer include:
- Work with New York chef, Mark Rosati, the man behind Shake Shack's menu, to create one of their concretes - which will then be on the menu for everyone to try for a limited period.
- Have dinner cooked for you in your home by The River Cafe's Head Chef
- Head out to review a restaurant with Fay Maschler
- The Fat Duck Experience - check out the experimental kitchen of The Fat Duck, before sitting down to enjoy the full tasting menu with paired wines.
Tickets will are on sale now at £55 - you can order them here. They include a champagne bar from Taittinger, food from the chefs’ stalls, complimentary drinks and live entertainment and we'll update this page as soon as they're available.
There will also be a few auctions handpicked for Emerald Street - and Mr Hyde - both of which will be announced soon.
