If you're in Wanstead and stocking up for the weekend, then you'll be wanting to head down to the brand new Ginger Pig that's just opened today.
It's their eighth butcher shop and as you reach it, you'll first be greeted by a big display window packed full of hanging meats. And inside, they also have their (frankly lovely) sausage rolls, handmade pies, patés, ready-made dishes including lasagne and ratatouille, and homemade chutneys and jellies.
