The big new London restaurants opening in February 2025

Moving into February, Gordon Ramsay goes big (and high) with a number of restaurants inside the 22 Bishopsgate skyscraper, Patrick Powell does pub food, The Berkeley gets a fancy new restaurant and lots more.

Gordon Ramsay at 22 Bishopsgate

City of London - 22 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AJ

It's been relatively quiet on the Gordon Ramsay restaurant front of late but all that's changing this month. He's opening multiple new restaurants and bars inside high-rise building 22 Bishopsgate and two of them open their doors in February. There's a new version of his pan-Asian restaurant Lucky Cat but the one to really watch is Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High. That's a chef's table version of his three-Michelin-starred flagship with an amazing view. There are only 12 seats, so expect this to be a very hard booking to get.

Opening: 4 February 2025

The Knave of Clubs

Shoreditch - 25 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6JX

This new Shoreditch pub brings together the man behind The Camberwell Arms, a JKS alumnus and ex-Allegra chef Patrick Powell. Opening this month is the main pub area where they say they'll be serving up oysters, Guinness and rotisserie chicken alongside prawn scotch eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. Coming next will be a separate restaurant upstairs that's run by Powell.

Opening: 20 February 2025

La Môme

Knightsbridge - Wilton Pl, London SW1X 7RL

This restaurant has built up a reputation at Cannes and Monaco and now it's taking over the main restaurant space at The Berkeley (where Marcus Wareing used to be). It's another big Mediterranean restaurant for London in a room that's adorned with photos of The Riviera in the sixties. Expect dishes like a lobster roll to share and a fair bit of theatricality throughout. As part of the opening they're adding a brand-new terrace to the hotel which should be a big hit when/if things ever get warm again.

Opening: 7 February 2024

Cálong

Stoke Newington - 35 Stoke Newington Church St, London N16 0NX

Cálong comes from ex-Galvin at Windows chef Joo Won and he's been running it as pop-ups for a while. The food is described as "French and European cooking... harmonised with subtle Korean flavours" with dishes including kimchi risotto and pan-seared pollock with mussel & courgette Jjamppong. It brings something very different to Stoke Newington and is definitely going to be one to watch.

Opening: February 2025

Noodle & BeerNoodle & Beer

Chinatown - 27 Wardour Street, London W1D 6PR

They already have a restaurant in Spitalfields but now Noodle & Beer is getting ready to grow. The name somewhat gives away what they're all about, but just in case you need it spelling out - they focus on Sichuan noodles, pairing those with a rotating collection of beers. Noodles have gone down very well in Soho recently if the success of Noodle Inn is anything to go by. So this could be a big hit for them.

Opening: 8 February 2025

CrunchCrunch

Soho - 60 Dean Street, London W1D 6AW

Crunch already have a stall in Spitalfields Market, but this sees them getting their own place for the first time. They're all about brioche sandwiches (or "brioche-inspired" as they like to say) with options including the Patty Melt (truffle beef patties, Red Leicester cheese, crispy onion marmalade and black truffle mayonnaise) and a steak sandwich. There are lots of sides and even French toast made with the edges of the brioche loaves.

Opening: February 2025
