Perched on the top of Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge, and with its own dedicated lift straight up to it, is the Fifth Floor. It's a go-to place to recover from the vigours of shopping as well as a lovely spot in the heart of London to meet up with friends and family.
With all manner of places to eat and drink on the Fifth Floor, including its own Terrace for alfresco dining, we thought it might be useful to work up a guide of what to expect.
The Fifth Floor Café and Terrace
This All-Day Dining space has new summer offerings including a bouji Brunch menu and a Luxury Afternoon Tea, plus did we mention Kids Eat Free on Sundays? The menus here are fully geared up for the summer heat with dishes such as Greek-inspired watermelon salad with crispy shallots, oregano and feta, and pan-fried sea bass served with bok choy and a tamarind lime vinaigrette.
The new Brunch menu sees firm favourites such as smashed avocado on sourdough toast with chilli, coriander, roast cherry tomatoes and poached eggs, as well as French toast with a cranberry compote and crème fraiche. And who wouldn't want a Luxury Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches like coronation chicken or cucumber and cream cheese?
For an alfresco option, head out onto the Fifth Floor Terrace with views across the Knightsbridge skyline. And look out for the terrace takeover with Discover Puerto Rico to be transported to the Caribbean island and experience the Boricua spirit. With cocktails curated by Puerto Rico’s infamous Rum House, Bacardi, and light bites inspired by Puerto Rican classics.
Don’t miss the new Summer Dining menu in partnership with Cloudy Bay. Enjoy three courses with a glass of fizz for £30 per person, available from 3 July until 30 September.
The Fifth Floor Bar
With light bites and a popular series of cocktail masterclasses, the Fifth Floor Bar is the perfect venue for mid-shop pit-stops as well as post-work drinks. To help any gathering go well, there's an impressive list of wines and Champagnes, including a variety of vintages, and an inventive cocktail list that also features some interesting Temperance takes. For snacks, you can pick anything from truffle fries to a club sandwich.
Don’t miss the new Spritz Menu in partnership with Campari Group and Fever-Tree. Expect toast-worthy cocktails paired with tempting nibbles. Choose any drink and bar snack for £19 or £13 non-alcoholic, exclusively available until 26 August.
Lucarelli Restaurant
Aldo Zilli's restaurant at Harvey Nichols is all about celebrating Italian food with much of the produce sourced direct from southern Italy. They have a new summer menu launching in July and if you're here with the kids there's complimentary gelato for children dining with an adult this summer from 24 July - 3 September.
Zelman Meats
From the team behind Goodman restaurants, Zelman Meats is definitely the place for meat lovers, sourcing its amazing steaks from all over the world, from Chilean Wagyu to North Yorkshire porterhouse. There’s a constant rotation of three choice meats, with cuts ranging from Chateaubriand and picanha to short ribs that are smoked on-site for at least 12 hours. Can't decide? Go for the Zelman Meat Plate – with every cut on a plate to share.
Burger & Lobster
This branch of the fun restaurant group is always going to be a popular spot for shoppers. This summer Burger & Lobster has a brand new look and feel and new summer editions on their menu include a lobster and prawn cocktail, a lobster thermidor salad, and a very summery-sounding strawberries and cream cocktail.
Madhu's Brasserie
This family-run business (HRH King Charles is a fan) offers a fun in-store experience serving up contemporary dishes with Punjabi and Kenyan inspirations. Pick up marinated lamb chops from the robata grill, spiced chicken wraps or freshly-made samosas.
