Five foodie events to go to during London Cocktail Week 2011

Not content with playing host to the London Restaurant Festival, the city is also about to celebrate London Cocktail Week which kicks off on 7 October for what actually turns out to be ten days of boozy events. To join in the fun you'll have to go to www.londoncocktailweek.com and register for a wristband which you can pick up at Gordon's bar in Selfridges from 5 October. Every evening there'll be a special LCW Routemaster bus taking people from venue to venue via Big Red Bus stops and providing probably much-needed free Perrier en route.

We've picked out some food-related activities going on over the week we thought Hot Dinners readers would like to try. But hurry tickets are going fast, with key events - like the Pollen St Social dinner already booked up. You can book most events on the LCW website.
