Top mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana is mad for Cadbury’s crème eggs so he’s put together a crazy-ass dish of french fries dipped in a warm crème egg. Pair that with a Ramos cocktail which is made with vodka, Empirical Symphony 6, crème de egg, lemon and cream.

Easter chocolate mousse at Big Mamma Group

Everyone’s favourite OTT restaurant experience has, for Easter, partnered with Tony's Chocolonely for an Easter chocolate mousse finished with a Tony's chocolate bar grated on top. It’ll be on offer at Gloria, Circolo Popolare and Ave Mario and £1 of every dessert sold goes to the Tony's Chocolonely Foundation funding projects to eradicate modern slavery in West Africa.

Crème Egg waffle at Dirty Bones

Fancy spending Easter on a search for the most Eastery (yes, it’s a word) dessert? Well, Dirty Bones are making a pretty big deal about their Easter waffle which features crème eggs on a crispy waffle. For further calorific delight, that’s topped with vanilla ice cream, marshmallow fluff, toffee and chocolate sauces and - the piece de resistance - crushed Mini Eggs.

Easter doughnut specials at Donutelier

This relatively new doughnut shop on Charing Cross Road has three seasonal doughnuts on its menu just in time for Easter. There’s a Gianduja Chocolate Eggs version featuring milk Chantilly and praline, chocolate ganache nest and gianduja flakes; a Springtime Pistachio doughnut with Chantilly cream, pistachio ganache nest and chocolate eggs and an Easter Vanilla Dreams one with a fleur de sel ganache, vanilla cream nest, salted caramel and gianduja flakes.

Chick buns at Bun House

You can always rely on Bun House to bring out a seasonal take on their buns and this Easter they’ll be serving up chick buns filled with coconut kaya custard. They’ll be available to eat in or take away from Bun House, or can be bought as a gift to steam at home, with nationwide delivery.

Easter carrot cake at Cakes & Bubbles

Is it a cake or a fried egg? Albert Adrià’s re-constructed ‘Carrot Cake’ is made from orange and carrot-flavoured frozen foam, filled with frosting, ginger and carrot cake biscuit. That’s then topped with an ‘egg yolk’ made of lime mouse and orange reduction glaze.
