I’m all for a glow-up. Tell me more.
Regardless of whether or not you’ve been burning the candles at both ends or just want a reassuringly nourishing dining experience, there’s a nutritionist-focused menu coming to Harvey Nichols this summer.
This sounds familiar.
You might be recalling Harvey Nichols’ Super Glow Menu with nutritionist Emily English that we told you about at the start of this year. It went so well over spring that they’re collaborating with Emily again on a Summer Glow Menu.
Fair enough, I’d best check this out. Who is Emily English?
You can look her up on Instagram. Emily English is a registered nutritionist with a degree from London’s King’s College. Her book So Good came out in May 2024 and was an instant Sunday Times best-seller.
So, if I head over to Harvey Nichols in London, what should I expect?
The full Summer Glow Menu is available at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge to eat in (or takeaway) until 31 August. Emily has curated a choice of juices and brunch dishes in partnership with Bamford.
Bamford skincare? I think I’ve seen it stocked in luxury hotels.
Yes, you would have - they’re a British organic lifestyle and wellness brand. If you purchase any brunch dish and juice from the Summer Glow menu, you’ll get a free Bamford candle as well as 10% off your next Beyond Beauty purchase.
Excellent. Tell me about the brunch and how it’s going to make me glow.
There are three brunch options (priced between £12 and £13) and each has been created with ingredients to promote good gut health and bright skin. They are Spicy Halloumi Tacos, The Glow Toast and Chicken Satay Slaw Salad.
- The Spicy Halloumi Tacos have plenty of plant-based diversity and fibre, as well as nourishing yoghurt and avocado slaw, along with a vitamin-C-rich pineapple salsa.
- The Glow Toast is packed with healthy fats, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and comprises beetroot hummus on toast, poached eggs, feta, chilli and herb salad.
- The Chicken Satay Slaw Salad is a bowl bursting with colour and variety, high in protein, Vitamin E and antioxidants: shredded chicken, cabbage slaw with edamame, red onion, mint, coriander and salted peanuts in a Thai satay dressing.
And the juices?
There are three juices (all priced at £6): The Collagen Booster, Radiance Tonic and The Hydrator.
- The Collagen Booster is replete with collagen-supporting vitamin C and anti-inflammatories that help protect, maintain and strengthen plump skin: carrot, orange, red pepper, turmeric and black pepper.
- The Radiance Tonic contains blueberries, beetroot, apple, lemon and a touch of olive oil to enhance the absorption of all these antioxidants.
- The Hydrator is a beautiful combination of thirst-quenching watermelon, strawberry, lime and mint for hydration and radiance.
I need all of those. You wouldn’t believe what I’ve been up to.
You can tell them all about it at the Beyond Beauty counter after brunch when they compliment you on your skin.
