If Oxford Street has lost its allure and you no longer fancy the crowds at Westfield, then how about a day trip to Bicester Village? The designer shopping destination is incredibly easy to get to (direct train access in under 40 minutes from Marylebone) and not only are there loads of bargains to had but there are also plenty of good places to eat and drink.
Here's our guide on the best places to eat and drink when you get there:
Farmshop Restaurant and Cafe
Run by the Soho House team, who also have a store in the village should you be wanting to purchase their glasses or tableware, this all-day eatery serves up British seasonal dishes. That rolls through from avo on toast at breakfast to afternoon tea options through to plant burgers and wood-roasted salmon with cocktails for dinner.
Cecconi's
The first branch of the well-known Italian group to open outside London, this country branch of Cecconi's is the place to go if you're after cicchetti, pasta or pizza. Options include truffle arancini, calamari fritti with aioli and aubergine parmagiana.
La Tua
Fresh pasta purveyors La Tua deliver pasta across London and also have stores at both Borough and Broadway markets. Here at Bicester, their menu focuses on their award-winning pasta like Devonshire Crab & Mascarpone Tortelloni and Black Truffle & Ricotta Tortelloni. If you're hankering for something sweet then head to their bomboloni and gelato bar for a treat.
The Mayfair Chippy
There's always a queue outside this Mayfair fish and chip restaurant, so maybe heading to Bicester is an easier way to get a table. In addition to the main event they also serve up lobster and crayfish rolls and there's even a crumpet section for breakfasts.
Shan Shui
Restaurateur Ellen Chew (Rasa Sayang) is behind this Shanghai-inspired restaurant. Pop in here for dim sum and bubble tea or larger dish options like wok-fried ginger beef or spring onion noodles with prawns.
The Veuve Clicquot van
Only after a glass of something cold and fizzy rather than a sit-down meal? Then the covered and heated terrace beside the Veuve van is the place for you. Enjoy a glass of Champagne with toffee popcorn or a cheeseboard before you head into the fray again.

The only other Ralph's Coffee option in the UK is to be found in Ralph Lauren's flagship store on Bond Street, so if you fancy trying one of their matcha lattes or sweet treats, look out for this outside their store here.
