Every now and again, we can trust the marketing bods at KFC to have the absolute barmiest idea, and we thank them for that. Last Christmas, it was all about lickable wrapping paper, and now it's gravy-flavoured ice cream.
For this occasion, they've teamed up with Hackney Gelato, who have been known to go for original flavours, but this is out-there even for them. The gravy gelato is just that - gelato flavoured with KFC's own gravy. As they put it, the gravy "features rich notes of peppercorn and, of course, chicken".
Not available across all KFCs, alas, you'll only be able to buy this online on the KFC shop. However, it only costs £5.50 and all proceeds go to the KFC Youth Foundation, empowering young people across the UK.
It's available from 15 May from 1pm and we don't know about you, but we have to try this. Set your alarm now.
